1. Vidova gora mountain bike route start point is at the coast in Bol city. Follow the road along the coast to the
west. The route passes near the famous Zlatni Rat beach. Follow the trail through Murvica village and continue to bay Farska.
Before bay Farska is a crossroad, veer right on the trail to the ridge of island Brac.
On the plateau follow road to the north and on the next crossroad before Blaca route continue straight until next crossroad.
Turn right on a road to Vidova Gora. After 2km on a crossroad veer right on paved road to Vidova Gora.
Before the peak there is a parking place for a restaurant and radio relay station. The trail from the parking place is
the labeled single track to the east and along the edge of abyss. On some sections hike on with the bike but the most
of the trail back to Bol is great for downhill ride. During summer is very hot so I suggest to plan the route for winter,
spring or fall. The route can be combined with Blaca route.
2. Sumartin mountain bike trail is on the south east area of Brac Island around fishermen’s village Sumartin.
This route can be combined with Povlja and Selca routes. It is a typical Mediterranean terrain, the trail is dry and rocky.
The starting point is Sumartin port. Follow the paved road along the coast to Selca. After the road leaves the bay turn right
to the Sveti Nikola chapel and on the next crossroad go straight. On the second crossroad turn right and proceed straight
until you reach the chapel Saint Nikola. Proceed to the north and on the first crossroad turn right and then straight till
Novo Selo. Next stopis Rasotica village. Bay Rasotica is 100m from the village to the south east side and the trail proceeds
to the south on the dirt road. After you reach the Sumartin crossroad turn left and go along the coast.
3. Povlja mountain bike trail has a loop shape starting
and ending point in Povlja.
Povlja is a village on the northeast side of the island Brac. First half of the trail is a continuous ascent with not many ups and downs.
The route can be combined with the Selca and Sumartin. It is a Mediterranean terrain, dry and rocky.
4. Blaca mountain bike route: Blaca is the canyon on the south side
of Brac island with well known Blaca Heritage built in 16th
century by Glagolite priests. Starting point of this mountain
bike route is Bol. Through the canyon and the part of the coast
is a single track, unpaved road dry and rocky. From Blaca's bay
the single track proceeds to the east course across the forest
where the ride is not possibe. You need to carry the bike and
hike up for 20min. This route can be combined with Vidova Gora
route.
